Keystone Through-the-Wall Air Conditioner
The
Keystone KSTAT12-2A Energy Star 12,000 BTU 230V Through-the-Wall Air
Conditioner cools rooms up to 550 square feet. It has electronic
controls with LED display and a temperature sensing, full-function
"Follow Me" LCD remote control allowing you to conveniently see, set and
maintain the room temperature from across the room. Additional features
include energy-saver mode, sleep mode and auto-restart. This unit is
designed for through-the-wall installation and is not designed for
standard window installation. This unit also requires a special 230V
electrical outlet and will not operate with a standard 115V household
electrical outlet.
Convenience, Savings and Cool Comfort
This
Energy Star unit has an Energy Efficiency Ratio of 9.4 and is sure to
provide you with savings, along with convenient, cool comfort. The
Energy-saver mode helps conserve energy and save money while the fan
continues to run for 3 minutes after the compressor shuts off. The fan
then cycles on for 2 minutes, at 10 minute intervals, until the room
temperature is above the set temperature, at which time the compressor
turns back on and cooling starts.
Programmable and Flexible Cooling
With
3 cooling speeds and 3 fan speeds you are able to have more cooling
flexibility with your space. You can also have the option to program the
on/off timer for up to 24 hours, so the unit cools on your schedule. To
program the unit, simply press the Timer button so the light next to
the word "On" illuminates. This indicates the Auto Start program has
initiated. The Left or Right arrows allow you to change the Auto time
starting at 0.5 hour increments, up to 10 hours or, 1 hour increments up
to 24 hours. The display will count down the time remaining until the
indicated start time. Turning the unit ON or OFF at any time will cancel
the Auto Start/Stop function.
Temperature Sensing LCD Remote Control
The
full-function "Follow Me" LCD remote control allows you to see, set and
maintain room temperature from across the room. Acting as a remote
thermostat, the remote control allows you to adjust the settings from a
distance for precise temperature control at the remote's location. This
feature sends the main unit a signal in 3 minute intervals in order to
maintain your desired temperature and can only be activated from the
remote control.
